Sustainable Wardrobe
PROJECT BRIEF AND SCOPE
This project involved designing an MVP for a wardrobe organization app, focusing on sustainable practices. I conducted user research, identified key problems, and created a priority grid to outline essential features. The deliverables included an MVP architecture flow, wireframes, and the UI design for a main screen.

Users are often unsure where and how to recycle their textiles responsibly.

Users find it challenging to decide which items to keep or discard.

After identifying user pain points, I conducted further research to explore solutions for sustainable wardrobe management. I used a prioritization matrix to evaluate features by impact and effort, enabling a focus on high-value, low-effort solutions for the MVP. The rough wireframes and notes provided initial ideas for user flows and screen layouts, setting a clear foundation for the app's core functionality and user experience.

A core feature for users to categorize, view, and manage their clothing items, making it easy to assess what they own.
2. FIND CLOTHES TO DISCARD
A feature to help users identify items they no longer need (e.g., items not worn in 6-12 months), supporting decluttering

Information or guidance on how to recycle discarded clothes sustainably, potentially including suggestions for donation or recycling locations.
User Flow
This MVP user flow, as a result of the research, provides a streamlined experience for sustainable wardrobe management. It includes onboarding, a home screen with outfit suggestions and sustainable deals, a profile for tracking items and donations, and a donation section to locate recycling options. An inspiration section offers educational content supporting eco-friendly habits and mindful consumption.

The first screen provides users with DIY tips and eco-friendly fashion ideas, organized by categories to inspire sustainable wardrobe practices.

This is where users can track their wardrobe, manage donations, and add new items, creating a centralized space for sustainable management.

The third screen features a map to locate nearby donation and recycling centers, with filters for different locations and recommendations for sustainable shopping deals.
Considerations
If I had more time, I would add features to enhance user engagement and personalization.
1. Users could exchange and sell items, while the app suggests outfits from both their own and exchanged collections.
2. Profiles could be customized based on style and color preferences, with outfit suggestions tailored to events, mood, or weather.
3. Additional options, like generating outfits from a single item and offering pick-up for donations, would further streamline sustainable wardrobe management.
